Cheshire Oak Bowmen

Welcome

Our Wood

Cheshire Oak Bowmen was formed in 2003 and has a current membership of twenty persons. Some members were already experienced field archers, some graduating from other archery disciplines and some were complete beginners on joining.

Cheshire Oak is a family club and we encourage ladies and younger members to join and take part.

The club has qualified NFAS coaches to give tuition and advice to new members and beginners courses are organised throughout the year.

Our shoot ground is a 28 acre wooded area situated in the heart  of the Cheshire countryside  and  consists of mainly mature deciduous trees. The terrain is mixed with both sloping and flat areas which lends itself to interesting shooting and a small course is available for members to practice.

Our shooting ground is within easy reach of the M6 - Jctn 19 and M56 - Jctn 7.

If you are interested in taking up the sport or looking for a club to join, please contact us.
